Pack walks satisfy dogs both mentally & Physically
We believe all dog walking sessions should incorporate physical exercise, training, and mental stimulation. We offer on leash pack walks to support the training, exercise, and socializing needs of our clients. When you’re hitting the town with your pup on a busy weekend, they travel easily thanks to walks, like it’s second nature. This is an amazing supplementary service to pair with your training program or a great standalone once your dog is in a good place.
Our service area includes Albany, Berkeley, Piedmont, and Oakland.
• WHY ON LEASH? Structured, on-leash walks help reinforce what most dogs are struggling to learn: staying calm on leash, around other dogs, and in city environments. We’ve found off-leash pack walks to be high adrenaline environments. This is overstimulating for a lot of dogs, contributing to a lot of leash reactivity.
• WHAT IS LEASH REACTIVITY? Leash reactivity might manifest as (but not always): “I usually get to say hi and play, and now I can’t! So I will bark and lunge!”.
• WHEN AND WHERE DO YOU WALK? We walk Mondays through Fridays all over the East Bay, including: Lake Merritt, Jack London Square, East Oakland, Chabot Park, Diamond District, West Oakland, Montclair, Rockridge, Piedmont, Emeryville, Temescal, Berkeley, Alameda, East Oakland, Albany and Kensington. We are closed on major holidays.
• DO YOU DO PICK-UPS? Yes! For your convenience, we pickup your dog from your home and return them safe and sound each day. We want to help break-up your dogs day while you’re busy with life.
• ANY OTHER BENEFITS? Aside from daily photos, a focus on training, regular team discussion, and one monthly team meeting with our facility training team, we run credit for boarding and walking with us. This means, if you go on vacation and your pup boards with us, the following month’s walking subscription will be reduced.
• HOW ABOUT PHOTOS? We send a daily photo of your pup out on the town with their pack. Take a look and visit our Instagram for more:
WHAT’S YOUR RATE? Canine Comprehensive offers a flat-rate subscription package for our pack walks. This means your rate will be static. Cancellations and holidays are already factored in for your convenience. To get harmony within the packs, we’ve found that we need to see dogs on a regular basis, and we have a three-day-per-week minimum.

If your dog does not have bite history or leash reactivity, you can reach out and we will book you for a complimentary meet and greet.
